Social Work Club
Northwestern’s Social Work Club is a student-led organization for social work majors. The club’s president joins the social work faculty for department meetings once a month. Members gather several times during the year to share a meal, socialize and hear updates about the department. They also participate in two fund-raisers—one for the club itself, and one for an outside organization, such as Head Start. Past fund-raisers have included selling baked goods and T-shirts, collecting change in the dorms, and hosting a workshop for area social workers.
