Hospers Hall

Built in 1965, Hospers Hall houses 100 women. It is named for Henry Hospers, who donated the land so Northwestern College could be built.

Room dimensions/description: 11 x 14; the walls are painted cinder block, floors are carpeted

Closets/storage space: 2 closets/dressers/overhead storage units per room

Furniture/amenities provided: Stackable beds, built-in desk with chair, built-in wardrobe with vanity

You’ll want to bring your own … mini fridge, free-standing drawers or storage units, TV, stereo, lamps, hot pot, shower caddy

Showers per student: About 1 shower for every 5 women

Community spaces: Hospers has the largest community lounge. It also has a computer/reading lounge and prayer room.

Laundry/cooking facilities: Community laundry room; community kitchen with stove and microwave

Distance to the caf’: It’s a nice stroll across campus.

Hospers traditions: Talent/no talent production, beach bash, Super Bowl party, Morning on the Green (Homecoming), Thanksgiving meal, Valentines dinner, bake-off of the best burnt cookies, hunt and fire, spirit week
