Residency requirement
Students who transfer 30 or more credits to Northwestern must complete the residency requirement by taking their last 30 credits at Northwestern. Students earning the majority of their credits at NWC must take at least 26 of their last 30 credits at the college to meet the residency requirement.
Exceptions
Exception to this residency requirement is made for students majoring in medical technology; students in the dual-degree programs of chemistry/engineering or math/engineering; and students in the pre-professional programs of dentistry, medicine, optometry, physical therapy and veterinary medicine, where the professional school will accept students after three years, provided their undergraduate institution will award them a B.A. following completion of their first year in the professional program.
