Music guest artists
Music students have the opportunity to hear, perform with and take master classes from many guest artists each year. Recent guests have included the Boston Brass; Chad Burrow, principal clarinetist with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra; award-winning pianist Amy Cheng from Oklahoma State University; Scott Fearing, horn player in the National Symphony Orchestra; internationally known worship leader Alison Adam; Broadway composer Ron Melrose; guitarist Doug Niedt; the Prairie Winds, a Chicago-based woodwind quintet; the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra; the U.S. Air Force Heartland of America Concert Band; and jazz pianist Deanne Witkowski.
