Hunger/Homeless Ministry

Students involved in the Hunger/Homeless Ministry team spend weekends serving in soup kitchens and homeless shelters in Sioux City, Iowa; Sioux Falls, S.D.; Omaha, Neb.; and Minneapolis, practicing compassion and exploring social justice. Students also raise money to combat world hunger through the Church World Service’s CROP Hunger Walk.

Participation in hunger/homeless ministries is a great opportunity for students studying social work, sociology, political science, economics, religion and other majors to extend their learning beyond the classroom.

Contact student leader Noah Adams for information about getting involved.
