Why your gift matters
While approximately two-thirds of Northwestern’s operating budget comes from student tuition, much of the rest is derived from private gifts. Your donations help to make a Northwestern experience possible for students who otherwise might not be able to attend.
Large foundation gifts are often influenced by the percentage of participation of our alumni base. Each contribution, regardless of amount, represents another important link in the gift chain that provides for the daily operation of the college.
