Graduation rates
Whether you’re purchasing a camera, a car or a college education, you want to know your money is being well spent. There’s Consumer Reports for the latest products, but how do you determine the quality of a particular college or university?
One way is to look at an institution’s graduation rates. The federal government has passed the Student Right-to-Know Act, which decrees that colleges and universities must disclose how many of their students actually graduate. Northwestern’s five-year graduation rate is 62.9%.
