Study communications abroad
Communications major Jeannine Lovas, who is interested in a career in communications and tourism, recently studied abroad for a semester in Wales. Her courses there included one in rural writing, and she had the opportunity to sightsee throughout the Welsh countryside and elsewhere in Europe. Other communications students have traveled for month-long summer study courses in countries like Germany and South Africa. The South Africa trip was led by communications professor Carl Vandermeulen and focused on the rhetoric of reconciliation.
