Communications internships

Communications students have interned at WGN-TV through the Chicago Semester program; for the Republican Party of San Diego, Calif.; at Sparrow Label Group in Nashville; at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis; and for the American Civil Liberties Union in Lincoln, Neb. Locally, students have interned at the award-winning NW Iowa Review newspaper in Sheldon, Iowa, and Next Level Ministries in Maurice, Iowa.

Los Angeles Film Studies Center
Located in one of the primary film and television production centers in L.A., the Los Angeles Film Studies Center (LAFSC) is designed to integrate a Christian worldview with an introductory exploration of the work and workings of mainstream Hollywood entertainment. If movies ignite an interest in you, the LAFSC can give you the skills, resources and community to fan your flame into real passion.

Washington Journalism Center
The Washington Journalism Center (WJC) is is an advanced, experiential semester on Capitol Hill that will cultivate professional news skills and encourage students to think through the implications of being a Christian working in the news media in a city that is home to both the powerful and the powerless.
