Visit Northwestern
Good questions to ask during a campus visit
- What are the other students on this campus like? I’ll be living and learning with them. Are they people I want to be around?
- What are the professors like? Can I learn from them in the classroom? What can they teach me about myself and who I want to be? What kind of access will I have to them outside the classroom?
- Are new things happening on campus? Are programs being added or improved? Are there buildings under construction or renovation?
- What’s the residence life like? Will I be part of a community here? How easy will it be to meet people? Will I have opportunities to become involved? To take on leadership roles?
- Is the academic program separate from student life, or are the two connected as part of the whole experience of going to school here?
- Will I be surrounded by people who will encourage my walk with Christ? What opportunities will I have to grow in my faith and to learn from the actions of myself and others?
- Will my education be limited to this campus, or are there programs here that will take me out into the world?
