125-Year Anniversary Community/College Celebration
Thursday, July 17, 2008 5 to 8 p.m. Windmill Park
Northwestern owes much to the city of Orange City. The Rev. Seine Bolks, the first pastor of Orange City’s First Reformed Church, was the driving force behind the founding of Northwestern Classical Academy and served as a charter member of its Board of Trustees. Orange City businessman Henry Hospers donated land and led in pledging funds for the academy.
To celebrate that partnership—and to thank the community for its support—Northwestern will conclude its 125th anniversary year with a special celebration in Windmill Park. Spend a summer evening filled with fun for the whole family. The entire event, from meal to activities to giveaways, is free.
